Dr. Jean has helped hundreds of animals with individualized formulas since she started consulting in 1995. Dr. Jean has worked with many species, including dogs, cats, birds, horses, wildlife, and even pigs! Dr. Hofve is the co-creator of PetEssiance™, assisting health and wellness of pets.
Jean Hofve, DVM. Holistic Veterinarian
Dr. Jean Hofve is a holistic veterinarian and former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. She was a practicing veterinarian for many years in Denver, CO, and served four terms as President of the Rocky Mountain Holistic Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Hofve She began working with flower essences and other holistic treatments during veterinary school, and began her own line of flower essence remedies in 1995. Dr. Jean has written and lectured about flower essences, nutrition, and other holistic modalities for The Whole Cat Journal, The Whole Dog Journal, Animal Wellness, veterinary students at the University of California (Davis) and the University of Colorado, the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, as well as the public.
