Shipping

At Ojibwa Tea of Life, we take pains to get your order to you as quickly and economically as possible.

We never charge a handling rate or extra fees! Your shipping costs are our costs to ship, and never anything above that.

All packages are shipped via the USPS (United States Postal Service).

Please note that once an order leaves our possession and enters the postal system, we have no further control over that package, and cannot be held responsible for it.

Domestic Shipping

For very small packages, you may choose the 1st class option.

All other packages ship via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate. The cost is determined by the size of your package. (That’s the “if it fits it ships” method.) Shipping costs are clearly defined on the checkout page.

Occasionally we will use FedEx Ground when it is appropriate, or less expensive. For example, if you order 3 of the glass bottles (32 oz tea), FedEx is less expensive. We will always REFUND the difference to you if your actual shipping costs end up being less than what was calculated at checkout.

If your shipping was calculated too low, we cover the difference. We never ask you for the additional cost of shipping if that happens.

International Shipping

USPS international rates are more expensive than domestic rates, and we do not have any control over that. We ship via Priority Mail Express International. This allows tracking of your package, and comes with insurance.

If you would like us to research a more economical shipping method, please place your order as usual, selecting Priority Mail Express International as your shipping method and making a comment in the notes section of the order form that you are interested in an alternate shipping method. If we are able to ship your order via an alternate method, we will refund any difference in shipping charges.

Please note, alternate international shipping methods may not provide tracking and insurance.  We cannot be held responsible for or provide replacement of orders shipped internationally via alternative methods.

Canadian Shipping

As with other international shipping, Canadian shipping is more expensive than domestic shipping. Again, we have no control over what the post office charges for shipping.

As with any order, we will refund the difference if you are charged more than the actual final cost of shipping your package.

Exceptions: In some cases, we are able to ship very small packages to Canada via first class mail. This comes with several conditions:

  • You must place your order by telephone. Our customer support number is 1-303-571-9303.
  • You understand that there is no tracking for your package.
  • You understand that there is no insurance for your package.

If you need to save on shipping and want to take the chance, you may call us at 1-303-571-9303 to discuss shipping to Canada via 1st class mail.
